TP-Link Power Strips (IotStrip) state changes take up to 60s to report since 2025.2 #137562

Description

The problem

KP303 was working fine before the core update but now exhibits a long delay before the state is updated. The action is immediate - just the state that is very slow to change.

No impact to the other Tapo devices (bulbs and plugs) - just the power strip that is suffering

Additional information

Image
Selecting the switch causes the toggle to move and go "blue" but after a second, it moves back to its off state. The icon does not change. However, the device has turned on correctly and immediately. It takes about 1 minute for the state icon to change and for the toggle to move to its correct "on" position. There is a short delay before it appears "on" in the App. Turning it on/off in the app is immediate as its the action. The HA UI shows the correct state after about a minute. No errors in the logs at all
