ms axis conversion is wrong?

I have an uptime from a system displaying as close to 25 Mil (when displayed as "short")

I add a scale function, of 1000, to convert the seconds uptime returns, into milliseconds. now the graph displays 25 Bil

Now I switch the left Y format to "ms" and the graph displays the 25 Bil milliseconds as 9.5 years! This is not correct right? It should be 289 days.
