The Compatibility Agents supports you to autodetect license incompatiblities.

There are several License incomaptiblity matrixes available to understand license incompatiblities like https://www.osadl.org/html/CompatMatrix-noexpl.html from OSADL. The agent checks the license found in the file and compares it with the main license. It will highlight the incompatiblity finding in red in the tree view.

License incompatibilities are managed via the license compatibility rules by admins.

License - License Admin - Compatiblity rules

There must be at least one entry in the 'First' and 'Second' fields. So either you can choose a First license and a Second license and make the compatible or incompatible.

Or you can choose 'License Types' which are compatible or incompatible. Or you can mix both.

In this case, the 2nd entry overwrites the first entry just for the compatibility of GPL-2.0-only with itself. As soon as a specific license is mentioned it overwrites the more general rule.

Please check the setting of license types to understand how to set them.

**Admin - Customize **

There you find the variable 'License Types'.

You can enter any value, which is helpful for the purpose of auto conclusion.

This value must selected in the license management aftwords.
