When producing a report, I usually download the SPDX-TV , and then manually convert it to a XLS document to be further processed.
The problem is that the extra manual step is far from straight forward.
Could it be possible to integrate the SPDX Converter Tool into Fossology, so as to directly provide the converted file ?
It seems that there already is the script install-spdx-tools.sh to download the tools, but I'm not sure what they're used for.
Converting to the ODT would be preferable, but the SPDX tool only propose XLS format for now.
Steps followed and expected result
Upload, Scan and Clear a package
Browse to the uploads, in the Action dropdown list
Select *Export SPDX Excel"
Download the SPDX content converted to Excel

Another option would be to convert the produced SPDX file to Excel using the API of an instance of the spdx-online-tools service.
This online tool can be tested here: https://spdxtools.sourceauditor.com/
I guess we should let the user configure the URL/Login/Password of a local instance rather rather than point to this public instance by default (which you can contribute financing btw)
