Bot Framework SDK v4 for Python (Preview)

This repository contains code for the Python version of the Microsoft Bot Framework SDK. The Bot Framework SDK v4 enables developers to model conversation and build sophisticated bot applications using Python. This Python version is in Preview state and is being actively developed.

This repo is part the Microsoft Bot Framework - a comprehensive framework for building enterprise-grade conversational AI experiences.

In addition to the Python SDK, Bot Builder supports creating bots in other popular programming languages like .Net SDK, JavaScript, and Java. Production bots should be developed using the JavaScript or .Net SDKs.

Contributing

This project welcomes contributions and suggestions. Most contributions require you to agree to a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) declaring that you have the right to, and actually do, grant us the rights to use your contribution. Reporting Security Issues

Security issues and bugs should be reported privately, via email, to the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) at secure@microsoft.com. You should receive a response within 24 hours. If for some reason you do not, please follow up via email to ensure we received your original message. Further information, including the MSRC PGP key, can be found in the Security TechCenter.
