The code sandbox under the 'What is state in react' is not working, and it shows an "Out of credits" error, that points to contacting the owners of the VM for a fix.

Very sorry, found my question is a duplicate, and will mark it as such. It would be nice to link to a fallback in the lesson meanwhile, though. Cant imagine every learner will see the github thread on how to get around it.
