I'd like to be able to press a hotkey, and have Soundux randomly choose one of the sounds I've bound to that hotkey.

For example, I'd set Heavy_medic01.wav, Heavy_medic02.wav, and Heavy_medic03.wav all to the same hotkey, SHIFT+V, then when I press SHIFT+V it would play one of those sound files at random.

If desired, an alternative could be a new system/setting for when sounds share the same exact hotkey, users could select how Soundux should handle it. Users could choose between having Soundux:

  • randomly selecting a sound to play,
  • select sounds alphabetically and cycling to the next sound each time the hotkey is pressed,
  • play all sounds simultaneously,

Environment: Portable
