Exact the same point I was thinking about at the moment. I already have it integrated in a project but I'm wondering if I have to seek for an alternative to be safe for the future. |

@owen-m1 sorry to ping you, but I've just seen a new release is out (thank you for that!). I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the above? It seems like at the very least SortableJS is in some sort of maintenance mode. |

Hi @DanielCordell, yes, I would also describe it as being in a maintenance mode. Currently Sortable is used in many different scenarios by hundreds of thousands of websites/apps, but it lacks any sort of regression testing to make sure new features do not break any existing functionality. This makes it far too risky to modify any core functionality or even add new features, except to fix bugs. I hope in the future I will find time to use AI to write these tests, which will make it easier to add new features or make changes in the future. But for now, I am monitoring it for any major issues and merging any fixes. |

I've been trying to get Sortablejs approved for usage at my company, but they cited the infrequency of recent contributions & the last change being over half a year ago (and the last release being a year ago) as reason to reject the request (and I can see their point).
Is Sortable "done", or are there more changes planned in the future? I would like to go back with some evidence if any that it's still being maintained, even if just in a maintenance mode.
