We have adopted Gherkin BDD

We use Hiptest to manage a large library of BDD scenarios.
For our Web e2e tests we are able to make a selection and publish them to the CI/CD pipeline to be run (assuming we have the step definitions done already).
Junit XML results are then pushed back up to Hiptest.
we want to be able to manage Mobile tests as BDD in Hiptest also.
We have (typescript) NativeScript iOS and Android applications, and require async functions for interactions.
Describe alternatives you've considered
We have looked at various mobile e2e frameworks, but have found that
using the nativescript-dev-appium package gives us a reliable framework to interact with our application in iOS&Android using a single script to drive both.
It would be great if we could also use BDD (from hiptest) using the nativescript-dev-appium package.
