What were you trying to do?

each time i reopen the app i always get this notification and nothing is installed . i believe maybe it's this bug electron-userland/electron-builder#8795

What happened?

currently when i reopen a production build it doesnt install the new version

How to reproduce the bug

just run php artisan native:publish everything works fine and uploaded sucesfully on digital ocean . but once i close and reopen the app nothing installed

a solution i have found is this comment . by manually clicking the app icon from applications

Hi @amaelftah. Thanks for reporting this

It's an interesting issue and hard to reproduce. I've just checked if it worked by installing a older version of one of my apps & it seems to update fine on my end (macos sequoia)

Does the app restart automatically when the update finishes downloading?
If not, this comment might be a possible solution: electron-userland/electron-builder#8997 (comment) - but it needs to be implemented on our end
