Mark Repo as Deprecated with Node 6 End of Life (April 2019). Link Alternative Functions Framework and Firebase Emulator. #327
Description
Hi all,
With the End-of-Life of Node 6 on April 26th, 2019, the cloud-functions-emulator tool for Google Cloud Functions for Node 6 is no longer being maintained and is marked as deprecated.
We recommend you use:
- Google Cloud Functions: The new functions framework which is the same library that powers functions for Node 10+.
- Google Cloud Functions for Firebase: The new local emulator with
firebase-tools.
These new tools should provide a better developer experience functions developers.
Let us know if you have any questions by creating a new issue in those repos.
