Is there anything special that I have to do in order to run GitVersion on AppVeyor?

Is it enough to do this:

gitversion.exe /output buildserver /UpdateAssemblyInfo true

In here:

There is mention of checking that the agent is set to check out mode. Isn't that a TeamCity thing, or is there something else I need to do in my AppVeyor configuration?
