Describe the bug

I edit the name of silk_touch in locales/overrides/zh_cn.json, but it doesn't work. I'm sure my cliend language is zh_cn and I reload my velocity with geyser.

To Reproduce

  1. create a new file "zh_cn.json" in locales/overrides
  2. input { "enchantment.minecraft.silk_touch": "test"}
  3. Reload
  4. Then join the game and use the command:"/tellraw @A {"translate":"enchantment.minecraft.silk_touch"}"
  5. We can find it show the defeaut text, and the override does not work.

Cannot reproduce, works fine on my end.
Please make sure to follow the following steps:

  • Restart Geyser after adding locale overrides
  • Make sure the client language is set to the correct language - the contents of zh_cn.json would only be applied for players that set their Bedrock client to that exact language
  • You can check whether Geyser is loading the correct locale by enabling debug-mode - Geyser logs all loaded locales.

Closing for now - if this continues to not work, please attach a screenshot of the client's language settings, as well as a geyser dump
