Description
DNSCrypt introduced a new interactive web based UI in version 2.1.9. (late to the party with finally leaving 2.1.8...- me that is)
Assuming you currently (force) disable it during build time, are there any plans to (securely) expose it to the user in the future (ideally) through a native in-app view (if possible) ?
Doesn't even need to be pretty, given just how rarely I (we?) have to actually open InviZible itself.
(As in the (beta) app has basically been performing flawless for years, only requiring the occasional log check or setting/blacklist change)
(I'm assuming that 1. I'm not missing it currently not being disabled - 2. This functionality is actually available on arm (or possible at all on Android devices) and not limited to desktops - 3. Requires more than what is actually implemented as part of InviZible to function)
I also do understand that functionality/features like this are not part of the core mission of InviZible. This is purely meant to be a question to clarify the current situation (given that the feature had a bit of a "rough" start before the rework) and to potentially get your thoughts on the "usefulness" of adding/exposing more information/statistics to the app and end-user.
Also 2 small potential changes
- B/s to align more with what a user might see the system report in network usage in the statusbar
- (DNSCrypt running only) single line notification by allowing at least the removal of the DNSCRYPT label (time elapsed might be too useful for removal and should still fit regardless)
