Before I waste any more time, I figured I'd ask for some help because it does not feel like I'm doing this right. I started by just installing it through docker easy enough, and it seemed like it was working but timed out every request, then even after moving it off my PC to my server to prevent VPN issues, it still wasnt working. Then I found some people a couple months ago on reddit saying this software is broken, and sure enough it was after the last release date that they said that, so then i find the issue #1300 and alexfozor's build, and went throught the process of building it which I couldnt even find proper instructions for, installed that but it still didnt work. So now Im trying to work on installing Chromium 126 on my server since I never had chromium installed and after trying to get some help with the process from Gemini its insisting that I need to install ChromeDriver, and since I havent seen that mentioned at all as an issue or in the documentation I got suspicious. Anyway after also looking over the chromium docs for building Chromium on Linux and seeing how much of a pain it looks like, before I invest a bunch of time into this I wanted to make sure I'm even on the right track since this seems ridiculously convoluted for such a simple software, and I cant imagine everyone using prowlarr has done this. So what am I missing? I know its probably something simple but I cant find it for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
