Ghost box border on inactive windows #173
Description
Since install I've been having the issue of all of my inactive windows getting a secondary border. It is translucent, square instead of round, and about 8-10px outside the regular JankyBorder.
Details
This happens on all inactive windows when I brew services restart borders.
When I click on inactive one and then back to something else, it goes away and everything is right in the world. They keep showing up over time though.
Few thoughts so far:
- This might be a non-issue with Tahoe. Haven't done the upgrade yet.
- After looking around at issues, this might be a ghost from the built-in MacOS window shadows mentioned here. I am not running
yabaiand thus, can't disable them that way. - I thought this might be a conflicting thing with
BetterTouchToolswindow snap thing, but have confirmed that is not the case. - This happens with no
inactive_colorspecified as well as a translucent one, e.g.0x00cccc00 - Happens on built-in as well as secondary (Odyssey G95SC)
- If I get some spare time I'll dig into the repo code myself and see if I can see the what-for.
