ExtCore.Infrastructure No longer compatiable with .Net Standard.

We are using IConfigureServicesAction in a few .net standard projects however with the move to version 5 this no longer works as version 5 is .net core 3.

Wanted to know if there was a work around for this or a reason that ExtCore.Infrastructure is not a .net standard project considering it has no depenacies.
