Action Performed:
Preconditions:
The user has 2 workspaces.
Workspace 1 has tax enabled, with at least 1 tax rate.
Workspace 2 has tax disabled.
- Go to https://staging.new.expensify.com/
- Create 1 expense in Workspace 1 with a tax rate (value higher than %0)
- Rename the report
- Create 1 expense in Workspace 2
- Open the expense from Workspace 2, then go to More > Merge
- Select the expense from Workspace 1
- Select the report from Workspace 1 (the renamed one) and fill in the other details with any options
Expected Result:
When merging expenses, the system should respect the tax enabled setting of the report.
Actual Result:
When merging an expense from a non tax enabled report with one from a tax enabled report, no tax is calculated.
