Hi there

I'm trying to follow the installation instructions from here but can't install due to a problem installing the specified version of numpy. I couldn't find anything about this here so I thought I'd make a new issue.

The cause could plausibly be macos12 or M1.

What did you expect to happen?
Install AMICI python interface on macos 12 on computer with M1 Max processor.

What has happened instead?

No but it might be worth adding macos to the test_install github workflow.
