Taking my pink socks for a walk
I think they had fun

I had a quiet day, so I took my pink socks for a walk.

A pink sock on a root

A pink sock striding over grass

We marched through fields and lanes around Hunstrete and Compton Dando, a bit south of Keynsham and a bit west of Bath.

A pink sock in a field of wheat

A pink sock on a wooden bridge over a gurgling stream below

We stopped for a picnic on a felled log, worn smooth by many bums sitting on it for picnics. There was a bivvy nearby, but we didn’t shelter because it wasn’t raining.

My pink socks and I enjoyed our day out.
