Victor Zarour Zarzar
I am a Research Associate at the Graduate Center, CUNY, where I obtained my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature in 2019. My dissertation, titled “The Ends of Plot: Rupture and Entanglement in L’amica geniale,” investigated conceptions of plot and plotting in Ferrante’s successful saga, employing narrative theory to contextualize the novel within the larger tapestry of modern European novelistic discourses.
I currently teach World Literature at Baruch College, as well as an interdisciplinary graduate course in The Graduate Center's M.A. in Liberal Studies.
I am also Managing Editor at gender/sexuality/italy: http://www.gendersexualityitaly.com/
