I'm in love. I played for all four endings and somehow I just sensed which one was the good one so I saved it till the very last time. That was beautiful!
That was such a beautiful, short story! The theme, the emotions, it's lovely! Thank you for this
I was trying to find a random online version of Storyteller on Google and when I hit play it opened up this game. I was slightly frustrated but I played because it looked interesting, and let me tell you, this is my favorite visual novel. Like ever. It's so charming and eeby deeby. I deadass thought it was a horror game at first, which goes to show how faithful you've stayed to the gothic theming. Would love to see more with these characters, maybe a longer format/full version??
thank you SO much for playing and sharing your thoughts with me. i can't tell you how much it means to read this!!! ive been thinking about making another raven queen game for a long time and i think you have inspired me to try to release another short one by this halloween :) i'll defo keep you in the loop if i'm ever able to release a longer form one!!
thank you again for sticking around to play it and making my year!!!
:3
I'm in love! Perfect short game. As a fan of gothic/ fairytale fiction, I can say it's hard to find any that's wlw. So this is really special. Not to mention the good atmosphere, writing, and characters! And as if all that wasn't enough, the attention paid to how these girls keep their hair is just perfect. Absolutely going to follow this account now. My only complaint is wanting more! Congratulations on creating such a lovely story. :)
hi Whimberly!
thank you so so much for leaving your kind thoughts here!! this game was really important to me; knowing that it reached you meaningfully is such a gift. i also found it near impossible to find gothic/horror/fairytale wlw stories, so i tried to be really mindful of how i crafted this. thank you for playing and for following- i've been thinking about making another raven queen game for a while now so hopefully i can get started on it once work calms down a bit :)
thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!<3
This was a wonderful game and I really loved it!! The artwork is very pretty <3
ahhh thank you so much! :') <3
I LOVE this game! hunting all the endings, currently.
hi ! my wife and i are really interested in playing this together, but it has pretty severe emetophobia; is there any way we could get some more info on when/where/how the v* scene is? thank you !!
hello there! im so glad the two of you want to play this together and if you are able, I hope you enjoy! :)
there are two possible branches where the main character v*s towards the end of the game. in one of the branches she does twice. the action itself is not visualized, but there is a short description + a sound effect each time. worms are also involved.
if you want, you can email me at gardenrobot.games@gmail.com and i can pass along the choices you can pick that would avoid the v* scene(s) :)
This was so polished and interesting!! Absolutely loved this !!
I really enjoyed this quick, engaging gothic visual novel. Artfully captures the tone of a melancholy fairy tale with spare, evocative visuals and sound design. Perfect for autumn!
the level of polish here is blowing my mind. how hard did you work on this? it's astounding how much you got done in such a short time! every one of the background paintings enchanted me.
gorgeous art, great use of sequences and animation, very evocative... I got the good end because I'm a pro gamer
