The psychological training and mentoring entitled “Harmony from Within” aimed at improving emotio... more The psychological training and mentoring entitled “Harmony from Within” aimed at improving emotion regulation strategies of adolescents at the Narayan Seva Orphanage, Buleleng-Bali. Participants were 22 adolescents ranging from 16 to 20 years old. The methods included seminar, discussion, presentation, and group work. Based on the evaluation conducted, it was found this activity was rated very well by the participants. In addition, there were also differences in emotion regulation scores among the two strategies, namely cognitive reappraisal and the expressive suppression before and after training. As many as 68% of the participants experienced improvement in implementing cognitive reappraisal strategy, and only 27% of participants were finally able to minimize the implementation of expressive suppression strategy. Lemahnya keterampilan guru-guru tersebut dalam mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran itu dapat diminimalisir dengan melakukan pelatihan pengaplikasian media pembelajaran daring, terutama mengaplikasikan model Schoology dengan menerapkan metode penugasan dan studi kasus. Berdasarkan pada pelatihan yang dilaksanakan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan, yaitu pelatihan ini sudah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar serta mencapai target yang telah direncanakan sebelumnya, yakni guru-guru mampu mengaplikasikan media Schoology dan akan memanfaatkan media tersebut dalam pembelajaran.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap mental, seperti rasa malu, takut, cemas, dan tidak percaya diri menjadi faktor yang paling dominan menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-1 dan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Objek penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalah pada penelitian, yaitu pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMP Lab Undiksha. Metode dalam penelitian ini yakni metode observasi, metode wawancara, metode dokumentasi, dan metode angket. Pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan sangatlah berbeda dengan pembelajaran sebelum pandemi terjadi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk membangun sikap bahasa positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia. Pada makalah ini pembahasan lebih difokuskan pada pola insersi nilai-nilai untuk membangun sikap bahasa terhadap bahasa Indonesia dan efektifitas perangkat yang dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola insersi penanaman sikap bahasa positif dapat dilakukan dengan menganalisis pembelajaran dan menanamkan nilai pada materi pembelajaran. Uji efektifitas menunjukkan bahwa insersi sikap bahasa dalam bahan ajar efektif menumbuhkan sikap bahasa positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia.

Metode atau teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: wawancara, observasi, angket, dan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu: reduksi, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Dari hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan minat baca siswa sebesar 27%. Program budaya literasi ini dikemas dengan kegiatan 15 menit membaca sebelum jam pelajaran, melaksanakan sabtu literasi, menata perpustakaan, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang kaya teks.

Keberagaman yang ada di Indonesia merupakan kekayaan yang dimiliki untuk menghadapi era yang terus berubah. Namun, sering keberagaman tersebut menjadi menjadi sumber konflik karena kurangnya pemahaman akan keberagaman. Untuk itu, pemahaman sebagai bangsa yang multikultur perlu ditanamkan. Salah satu jalan itu adalah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Bahasa Indonesia sangat dekat dengan kultur atau budaya karena bahasa sendiri adalah bagian dari kebudayaan. Pemahaman multikultur sangat penting untuk menanamkan sikap-sikap seperti toleransi, saling menghargai, persamaan hak, dan sebagainya yang merupakan alat preventif konflik sosial. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan integrasi pendidikan multikultur dalam bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dan cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk melakukan integrasi tersebut.

Sebagian besar guru-guru bahasa Indonesia ini belum berpengalaman menerapkan media pembelajaran daring. Padahal, mereka sering mengikuti pelatihan pembelajaran daring. Lemahnya keterampilan guru-guru tersebut dalam mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran itu dapat diminimalisir dengan melakukan pelatihan pengaplikasian media pembelajaran daring, terutama mengaplikasikan model Schoology dengan menerapkan metode penugasan dan studi kasus. Berdasarkan pada pelatihan yang dilaksanakan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan, yaitu pelatihan ini sudah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar serta mencapai target yang telah direncanakan sebelumnya, yakni guru-guru mampu mengaplikasikan media Schoology dan akan memanfaatkan media tersebut dalam pembelajaran.

Keterampilan berbicara telah dilatihkan sejak dini. Namun, hasil pembelajaran berbicara masih jauh dari harapan. Banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran berbicara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap mental, seperti rasa malu, takut, cemas, dan tidak percaya diri menjadi faktor yang paling dominan menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Faktor penghambat lain adalah motivasi yang kurang, kebiasaan belajar yang buruk, penguasaan komponen kebahasaan yang masih rendah, penguasaan komponen isi yang belum memadai, hubungan/interaksi antara guru dan siswa yang masih rendah, media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik, dan hubungan/interaksi antarsiswa yang belum sesuai harapan. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-1 dan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Objek penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalah pada penelitian, yaitu pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMP Lab Undiksha. Metode dalam penelitian ini yakni metode observasi, metode wawancara, metode dokumentasi, dan metode angket. Pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan sangatlah berbeda dengan pembelajaran sebelum pandemi terjadi. This study used the experimental design in testing the affectivity of folklore-based instructions in the competency and character of primary school students. The instruments used to collect data in this study were questionnaires, test of learning outcomes, score inventory and self-evaluation. The questionnaire was designed to find out the feasibility of folklore-based instructions. The test on learning outcomes was used to find out their scores. The data analysis used the multivariate analysis of variance. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk membangun sikap bahasa positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia. Pada makalah ini pembahasan lebih difokuskan pada pola insersi nilai-nilai untuk membangun sikap bahasa terhadap bahasa Indonesia dan efektifitas perangkat yang dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola insersi penanaman sikap bahasa positif dapat dilakukan dengan menganalisis pembelajaran dan menanamkan nilai pada materi pembelajaran. Uji efektifitas menunjukkan bahwa insersi sikap bahasa dalam bahan ajar efektif menumbuhkan sikap bahasa positif terhadap bahasa Indonesia.

Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu: reduksi, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Dari hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan minat baca siswa sebesar 27%. Program budaya literasi ini dikemas dengan kegiatan 15 menit membaca sebelum jam pelajaran, melaksanakan sabtu literasi, menata perpustakaan, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang kaya teks.
