P. Scott Makela

P. Scott Makela, a groundbreaking graphic designer and multimedia artist, studied at Cranbrook, where he also served as designer-in-residence. Scott’s typeface Dead History, was one of 23 digital typefaces included in the permanent architecture and design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Scott passed away in 1999.
