Emma Marichal

Graduating from the EsadType program in Amiens in 2021, Emma Marichal is trained in typeface design and font engineering. She collaborates with various type foundries, including the open-source distributor Google Fonts, where she contributes to font production, quality assurance innovation, and repository maintenance.

Her typeface Ploquine, published by TypeTogether and developed as part of the Gerard Unger Scholarship she received in 2022, was awarded a TDC Award in 2025.
