This special issue showcases six remarkable and resourceful case study articles. Each article pre... more This special issue showcases six remarkable and resourceful case study articles. Each article presents prescribed practices that have led to community college successes across the United States. The special issue is methodical arranged within one of the three principle categories, which include mission-driven institutes, adaptability in alignment with mission, and strategic partnerships. The agility to which community colleges adhere to their myriad missions and respond to local workforce and community needs are expanded through the detailing of successful programs and initiatives. This exceptional collection delivers to the Community College Journal of Research and Practice reader informative approaches and practical protocols for program duplication. The articles are expressed from a practitioner’s viewpoint. Individually, the case studies broach a variety of topics from program development, student completion, free online course portal, and STEM curriculum redesign, to employee engagement in institutional improvement and a beneficial partnership model that led to vertical transfer success. I would like to express my gratitude to the guest editors, Dr Dale F. Campbell and Dr Xiaodan Hu, for curating and supervising the review process of this special issue. Their astute leadership and commitment have contributed to the scholarship of best practices, which have led to community college success.
