Submissions Q & A:

(If you have any questions for us, drop them in the comments and we will add them to this list.)

Are there any limits on length?

Please keep it above a 3-minute read.

Are there any formatting requirements?

Yes.

  1. Make sure that your story is well-formatted, structured, and edited before submitting. You can use Medium’s editing features such as drop caps, headers, and subheaders or quotes to make your article more interesting and concise.
  2. Please use an image from somewhere other than Unsplash. The reason for this is that Unsplash travel images are way (way) overused. (This isn’t a hard and fast rule but we’d like people to be conscious of it and not be surprised if we change it to something else if you forget.)

Do you pay?

Not at the moment.

Do you love me?

With all our hearts.

Thank you for your interest in writing for Farewell Alarms.

We look forward to reading your work!
