Catherine Rider
I'm an associate professor in medieval history at the University of Exeter, specialising in late medieval religious and cultural history and the history of medicine. I've worked a great deal on the history of magic. I'm now building on some of my other research interests and am working on two new projects: one on medieval views of infertility and one on magic in the archives of the Roman Inquisition in Malta. I'm always happy to hear from potential research students interested in working on the history of religion, medicine or magic, especially in a late medieval English context.
