Pronunciation
[edit]Noun
[edit]ideozločin m inan
- thoughtcrime (a crime committed by having unorthodox, unofficial, controversial or socially unacceptable thoughts.) [since 20th c.]
- 2014, Bohuslav Smil, Kulky a opium[1], Praha: Mladá fronta, translation of 子彈鴉片—天安門大屠殺的生死 by Liao I-wu:
- Jsem si moc dobře vědom toho, že v zemi, kde se ideozločin trestá, je pro spisovatele, který chce zůstat sám sobě věrný a který se snaží vyjádřit hlubší pravdu, psaní samo o sobě výrobou důkazů.
- I am too well aware of the fact that in the country where thoughtcrime is punished, writing itself means a production of proofs against the writers who want to be faithful to themselves and who try to express deeper truth.
- 2013, Pavel Bakič, Hra se lvem[3], Kniha Zlín, translation of original by Nelson DeMille, →ISBN:
- Bylo by ale naivní doufat, že se od pravidel někdo odchýlí zrovna tady, kde v chodbě visely plakáty varující před chlastem, kouřením, sexuálním obtěžováním a ideozločinem.
