Particularly: “Not given an etymology by DRAE. A discussion on Latin Stack Exchange offers some tentative proposals:[1]
  • chicha (“flesh”) +‎ -ón (“augmentative suffix”). This seems to be the most common explanation.
  • From an unattested Latin *citione, from citum (“supine form of cieō (“to set in motion, move”)”), with semantic shift "move" > "blow (hit)" > "bump".
  • Derived from Latin caesiō (“cutting”), from caedō (“to cut”).”
