I mostly improve the grammar and style of articles. I have many, many interests, notably linguistics, media, and software. Specifically, FOSS software. And while more people have used it than I have, I enjoy spending wasting my time on the fediverse:

I've created one article, Languages of Lebanon. It contains paragraphs that are copied from multiple other English Wikipedia articles, notably Levantine Arabic, but also has new content. I am a somewhat-active contributor at the Levantine Arabic Wikipedia, and I'm always searching for speakers of Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese and other dialects of Levantine who are interested in contributing to the Levantine Arabic Wikipedia.

Videos I subtitled

[edit]

I enjoy writing English and Levantine subtitles for some reason:

Only the English subtitles.
I translated this video to Levantine شامي. This video was already subtitled in English, but I improved the timing of the dialogue, and added sound effects and speaker IDs.

First video I translated, from the Lebanese dialect of Levantine Arabic to English. Also, with some help, added same-language subtitles, though they're currently in the Arabic slot because of the lack of support for Levantine.
[I only wrote the English subtitles] Well, that was fun.
[I only wrote the English subtitles] A one-word translation, and captions for people not listening to the video. There is no speech.
[I only wrote the English subtitles] “What is the fediverse?”, was used to be used on the Simple English Wikipedia article for the fediverse.
With a metric translation in the British version.
I also hate subtitles that don't match word for word, but they all speak really fast for some reason.
I didn't, like, like all the, like, likes that Hank said, but it's, like, fine.
This video is not used anywhere on Wikipedia. I shouldn't have subtitled it.
The usual SDH subtitles, some Arabic subtitles, and some Arabic-to-English translations.
I only wrote the English subtitles.
