Alumni categorization

[edit]

I updated Chris Klaus earlier to correct the statement that Klaus graduated from Georgia Tech (with reference). Should the entry then be removed from Category:Georgia_Institute_of_Technology_alumni as well? He is certainly associated with GT, so perhaps there is a more appropriate category? --Imtzo 16:11, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My rule for inclusion in the alumni category and the alumni list follows the Alumni Association's rule: you're considered an alumni if you've completed one semester in good standing. Right now, there's not a special category for large donors to the institute, given that there are so few of them. I've just been placing them in Category:Georgia Institute of Technology people, but it wouldn't make sense to put Chris Klaus there since he's also a member of a subcategory of that category. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 16:19, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a good rule to follow to me. Thanks! --Imtzo 18:33, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date

[edit]

The date under his picture has him born in 1973. But this article is categorized under 1974 births. I'm changing the category to match the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wigren (talkcontribs) 13:59, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
