Kyle Hausmann-Stokes

Kyle Hausmann-Stokes is an American film director and screenwriter.[1] He directed his feature directorial debut with My Dead Friend Zoe (2024).[2] The feature is based on his short film Merit x Zoe.[3] Hausmann-Stokes also directed the documentary Now, After... (2011).[4]
For his work in My Dead Friend Zoe, Hausmann-Stokes won the South by Southwest Narrative Spotlight Audience Award.[5] He also served in the United States Army during the Iraq War and won a Bronze Star Medal.[6]
