English: Several open-source Windows applications running on ReactOS (GPL), an open-source implementation of Windows. The applications are K-Meleon version 74.g (GPL), the ReactOS text editor (GPL), and 7-Zip (LGPL). The text comes from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (public domain) and the partially obscured email draft was composed by me to be released in a GPL-covered image.

Previous versions used GPLv2 and GPLv3 software. This version uses specific versions of 7-zip, ReactOS, and K-Meleon that I've checked can be licensed as GPLv2. The whole image will now be GPLv2. The FSF say the GPL does not apply to screenshot output of GPL software (meaning that any license could be used) but this more cautious approach should make things as clearcut as possible for the commons.
