English: As of 14:00 IST September 22, Depression BOB 03 was located within 30 nautical miles of 21.5°N 87.5°E, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) east-southeast of Balasore, Orissa and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south-southwest of Digha, West Bengal. Maximum sustained winds are 25 knots (46 km/h; 29 mph), gusting to 35 knots (65 km/h; 40 mph). Minimum central pressure is 998 mbar (hPa; 29.47 InHg), and the system is moving west slowly.
The depression is slowly moving to the west and affecting northern Orissa and West Bengal. According to the IMD, the depression will continue to move west and make landfall over north Orissa-West Bengal by this evening. Under the depression's influence, heavy rains or thundershowers would occur and most places and with heavy to very heavy falls would occur over a few places over north Orissa during next 24 hours. Heavy to very heavy falls are also possible over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, south Orissa and north Chhattisgarh.
