  1. (transitive, nonstandard) To use a noun as a verb via anthimeria.
  2. (transitive, nonstandard, slang) To derive a verb from a pre-existing noun.
    • 1994, Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts, page 1173:
      One way to verbify quickly is by adding the suffix -ize to a word. Numerous examples are cited where verbified words have come into common usage.
