- 会津ニハおもいがけぬ人物ニてありたり。其時小弟ハ土佐人高坂龍次郎と申て出かけ、色々おかしき談ありしが、変りたる事なし。
- Aizu ni wa omoigakenu jinbutsu ni te aritari. Sono toki shōtei wa Tosa jin Kōsaka Ryūjirō to mōshite dekake, iroiro okashiki dan arishi ga, kawaritaru koto nashi.
