Charlie "Swedish Wonder" Hallstrom (January 22, 1864 - May 6, 1949) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. Hallstrom is the first of four Major League Baseball players born in Sweden. Hallstrom's major league career lasted only one game, in which he pitched for the Providence Grays against the Chicago Cubs. On September 23, 1885, the Grays ran out of pitchers and used Hallstrom, an amateur pitcher and Chicago resident.[1]
