I am working on a comparison of Achaemenid Persian and Greek irrigation techniques (6th-4th centuries BC), using the range of available archaeological and textual evidence from both Greece and Iran. The project will be comparing different irrigation techniques in classical Greece, at its inception.
I studied as a researcher in the Parsa-Pasargadae Research Foundation (Persepolis World Heritage Site) from 2007 to 2011. Since 2011 to 2017 I was PhD student in the University of Athens in Greece.
My additional broader research interests include Achaemenid Persia, archaic and classical Greek archaeology and Greek-Persian interactions, especially on irrigation systems, water management techniques, and hydraulic works.

The present paper is a brief report of excavation results, offering a preliminary analysis of the relative chronology based on parallels in material culture, and in particular pottery. The results can assist the study of the history of settlement in the Marvdasht plain and southwestern Iran, most likely from the Late Sasanian until the Late Islamic period. It also offers new perspectives on developments in pre-industrial communities in the Marvdasht plain.
