& In My Rapture I Will Bloom

Earlier this year, I wrote my first-ever game: & WITH MY ANGER I WILL GROW, a submission for the Trans Fucking Rage Jam. When stargazersasha announced the Trans Joy Jam, I knew I wanted to make a complementary game with a slightly different focus.

& IN MY RAPTURE I WILL BLOOM is that game: a one-page, single-player game designed for everyday play. In this game, we're paying attention to the big things and small things that keep us going when the world seems impossibly bleak. 

To play, set up a Joy Tracker. When you feel happy, excited, euphoric, seen, heard, or loved, add 1 to Joy. When your Joy Tracker reaches 10, you're ready to Bloom. You'll need a six-sided die or digital die roller to find out the shape of your Blooming.

Game files include: the Garden Edition, in warm tones; the Sky Edition, in the jam colors; the Printable Edition, which is grayscale so as not to use all your printer ink; and the Plaintext Edition, designed to be easier to read.

P.S. For anyone who's been following along since the Trans Fucking Rage Jam, I quit that shitty job where everyone misgendered me and got a new job with better pay and respectful coworkers :)
