Major Autel drone shutdown: Key models losing support soon

Autel Robotics has announced a major shake-up in its drone lineup, discontinuing several models, including the EVO II Pro V2, EVO II Dual 640T V2, EVO II RTK series V2, EVO II Enterprise V2, Dragonfish Lite, and multiple ecosystem products like DG-Z2, DG-T3, and DG-T3H. If you own or rely on any of these drones, here’s what you need to know.

Autel Robotics explains that the discontinuation, sales cessation, and service termination of drone models align with its product lifecycle management strategy to focus on newer, more competitive drone solutions. The company wants to streamline its lineup and invest in better stability and innovation for future products.

Key deadlines to watch for current EVO II, Dragonfish drone users

EVO II V2 series (Pro, Dual 640T, RTK, Enterprise)

  • Sales already ceased
  • Service ends October 31, 2025

Dragonfish Lite, DG-Z2, DG-T3, DG-T3H

  • Sales already ceased
  • Service ends December 20, 2026

Once the end-of-service deadlines pass, Autel will no longer provide software updates, technical support, or repairs (unless a major safety issue or regulatory requirement arises).

For those flying the EVO II V2 series, the most urgent deadline is October 31, 2025 — after that, Autel won’t offer any service or support. If you’re using a Dragonfish Lite or the DG-Z2, DG-T3, and DG-T3H ecosystem products, you have until December 20, 2026, but planning ahead is crucial.

Good news: You still have some time to use these drones and get them serviced.

Bad news: Once support ends, any issues or repairs will be completely on you.

Have questions? Reach out to Autel’s official service center at (844) 692-8835 or visit Autel Robotics Service.

Autel’s decision to phase out the EVO II V2, Dragonfish Lite, and key ecosystem products is a big shift, and users should prepare accordingly. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a business relying on these drones, now is the time to plan your next move before support disappears!
