HEY! YOU! YES, YOU! THIS IS MY NEW WEBSITE! I wanted to take a step back from social media, and thus this website was born. Having to learn HTML has been a drag, but I wanted to learn from this experience. While I used a lot of tutorials and didn't learn much, I do now know how to add new entries on this website and thats pretty neat!

Hi! I go by many names, such as Gavin, Juliet, or Dreemii! Don't care which one you call me, but just one of those! I am a 17 year old based out of the-middle-of-nowhere Arkansas, with big dreams and little aspirations! I love reading, writing, playing games, listening to music, drawing, and a whole lot more, so I hope you want to stick by my side and check in on my webpage from time to time! Thanks for dropping by!

What can I expect here?
Here, you can expect some blog posts, maybe some photos? I'm still thinking about what all will be here, but it should be my replacement for social media :) I wanna turn back time and live life outside of the screen, but if it has to be on a screen, I'd prefer to stay off social media (INSTAGRAM! COUGH COUGH!) as MUCH as possible!
Why did you quit social media?
While I still consider my absence from social media to be a break (I'll certainly post there from time to time!), I don't want to be reliant on the platforms that are just trying to get engagements from me! For here, I have 0 way of knowing how many people have seen my site, which is a breath of fresh air. I don't have to worry about impressions or views or likes. Maybe I will find a way to add a blog function on here so it's essentially my very own Instagram, but it's just my blogs, and I like that. I deleted social media after realizing I didn't have many friends and thus there wasn't much of a reason to post meaningless content that people didn't care about. Now, if anyone really cares, they'll reach out to me and hear about my day in a way to where I don't have to cut it down for a story or caption. I just felt fake and pointless.
Why not use a website builder? Why learn HTML?
Put simply, I am bored, and wanted to live like the early 2000's (and it's a useful tool for the future!).
