Perfect-fluid Hydrodynamics with Constant Acceleration Along the Stream Lines and Spin Polarization

abstract

A global equilibrium state of a spin polarized fluid that undergoes constant acceleration along the stream lines is described as a solution of recently introduced perfect-fluid hydrodynamic equations with spin \(\nicefrac {1}{2}\).


Status of Exclusion Limits of the KK-parity Non-conserving Resonance Production with Updated 13 TeV LHC

abstract

Unequal strengths of boundary localised terms lead to non-conservation of the Kaluza–Klein (KK) parity in the 4+1 Universal Extra Dimensional model. Consequently, the first excited KK-partners of Standard Model particles are not stable by any symmetry. In this article, using the latest 13 TeV Large Hadron Collider (LHC) results, we revisit the resonant production of first KK-excitations of the neutral gauge bosons (\(G^1\), \(B^1\) and \(W_3^1\)) and their subsequent decay. Specifically, \(G^1\) (first KK-excitation of gluon) decays to \(t\bar {t}\) pair and \(B^1/W_3^1\) (first KK-excitation of electroweak gauge bosons) decay to \(\ell ^{+}\ell ^{-} (\ell \equiv e, \mu )\) pair. We find that the exclusion limits of model parameters obtained at 95% C.L. from the non-observation of these channels have been shifted towards the lower side of the parameter space compared to our previous analysis at 8 TeV.


Influence of Relativistic Viscosity in the Thermodynamical Quantities in the Accretion Disks Around the Rotating Black Holes

abstract

In this paper, we study the relativistic, steady state, optically thin, advection-dominated accretion disks around the rotating black holes. We study axisymmetric and vertically averaged disks. For shear stress viscosity, the exact relations of the four-velocity with no approximation are derived. We effort to derive the general and analytic relation for density, relativistic enthalpy, temperature, pressure and inertial energy. We use the radial model for the radial component of four-velocity. In the radial model, the figures of density etc. are plotted. The influences of shear and bulk coefficients and spin of the black hole etc. are studied.


Chaos Synchronization of Canonically and Lie-algebraically Deformed Henon–Heiles Systems by Active Control

abstract

Recently, there has been provided two chaotic models based on the twist-deformation of classical Henon–Heiles system. First of them has been constructed on the well-known, canonical space-time noncommutativity, while the second one on the Lie-algebraically type of quantum space, with two spatial directions commuting to classical time. In this article, we find the direct link between mentioned above systems, by synchronization both of them in the framework of active control method. Particularly, we derive at the canonical phase-space level the corresponding active controllers as well as we perform (as an example) the numerical synchronization of analyzed models.


Reconstruction of Stochastic Dynamics of Sulphur Dioxide Concentration in Lower Troposphere in Selected Polish Measurement Stations

abstract

In the paper, we propose the algorithm of determination mean level of emission and decay rate of sulphur dioxide (SO\(_2\)) in lower troposphere. We applied the stochastic method dedicated to extraction of components affecting the fluctuations of SO\(_2\) concentration. For calculations, we used original time series recorded in two measurement stations in Cracow (Poland) during several years. The deterministic part of the model is represented by linear function, which coefficients can be related directly to first order kinetics of SO\(_2\) chemical reactions. In the analyzed data, we observed large difference between production constants (marker of SO\(_2\) emission to atmosphere) in these two measurement stations. The first value equals 0.67 [\(\frac {\mu \mathrm {g}} {h\, \mathrm {m}^3}\)] and was obtained for area in close neighborhood to steelworks. The constant for second station is twice smaller. We estimated total rate of reactions of decay of SO\(_2\), which, in our opinion, can be interpreted as contribution of anthropogenic processes to SO\(_2\) transformation reactions.


Generation of Chaotic Systems with Different Number of Equilibria

abstract

This paper is dedicated to the generation of chaotic systems with different equilibria and different dynamical behaviors. A unified four-dimensional autonomous chaotic system is presented. The number of the equilibria of the system is determined by its nonlinear terms. For different nonlinear terms, the system can generate chaotic attractor with one or two unstable equilibria, multiple coexisting chaotic attractors with three unstable equilibria, multi-scroll hyper-chaotic attractor with multiple equilibria. The dynamical behaviors of the system with different nonlinear terms are analytically and numerically investigated.


Bring PageRank to the Infrastructure Network

abstract

The PageRank algorithm was introduced to rank the important nodes on an actual air traffic control network. In order to verify its ability to identify the important nodes in the network, PageRank algorithm was compared with the other three node ranking methods and simulation verification was conducted via the disaster spreading dynamics model. The results showed that as compared with the other three ranking methods, PageRank algorithm had a stronger ability to identify important nodes, so it could be used to rank the important nodes on infrastructure networks.
