Google Summer of Code¶

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a Google program focused on bringing new contributors into open source software development.

GSoC Contributors work with an open source organization on a 12+ week programming project under the guidance of mentors.

Blender is happy to participate in this initiative since its beginning in 2005!

Blender Foundation has been accepted as mentoring organization for GSoC 2025!

Applications for GSoC contributors open March 24 – April 8.
