The authors report on the utility of natural Language Processing in the field of Pain Medicine.
The article is timely and well-balanced.
Minor comments:
the authors may want to report on the newer large language models like google Bard and others.. difference?

Research using large datasets has several limitations: they may want to mention the drawback of non-standardized data and the difficulties in control for confounding factors.

Optimized documentation and billing compliance:
This goes both ways and we recently saw that large insurance carriers are using AI to reject claims. There is a big potential for widening healthcare inequities and access to care. Large hospital and physicians groups with have the resources to utilize AI to boost their billing, while small physician groups or practices caring for underserved minorities won't.
