These coat of arms are said to be those of the town since at least the XVIth century, but in the XVIIth and XIXth century, the arms were also said to be azure two keys in pale wards upwards and outwards conjoined or (which seem to be the arms of the family of Cluny).
Français : D'azur à la clef d'argent en pal
Selon B. Timms, ces armes seraient celles de Cluny depuis au moins le XVIème siècle. Au XVIIème et XIXème siècle on trouve également d'azur à deux clefs d'or adossées, posées en pal et entretenues (qui seraient les armes de la famille de Cluny).
