  • Symbolism : The tree of Sidr symbolizes honey, generosity of civilization, green to the valley of Hadramout, white to peace, blue to sea, and red to sacrifice for independence and preservation of identity

  • ترمز الالوان الى الاتي: اللون الاخضر في الاعلى يرمز الى خضرة وادي حضرموت, اللون الابيض في الوسط يرمز الى سلمية ابناء حضرموت, اللون الازرق في الأسفل يرمز الى لون بحر الحضارم (بحر العرب), اللون الاحمر على الجانب الايسر (سارية العلم) ويرمز الى تضحيات ابناء حضرموت من اجل الحفاظ على هويتهم الحضرمية ونيل أستقلالهم, شجرة العلب ( السدر) في وسط العلم وترمز الى عطاء الحضارم وخير ارضهم.
