Total Immersion in water clearly saves, yet there is no doubt just believing or having faith alone is enough to purify the heart unless believing and faith include total immersion in water. Yeshua said, 36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field."

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!" More would be totally immersed for the forgiveness of sins if they were commanded. Believing the gospel, repentance, confessing Christ, baptism, and being faithful were always commanded. Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Explain that the process depends upon acceptance of the following guidelines by all participants: 1. Do not judge, criticize, or evaluate any ideas as you engage in the solution development process. 2. Do not use attempts to exercise power or control of any kind: such as anger, yelling, name-calling, putdowns, threats or intimidation or manipulation.

The following is from the New International Version of the New Testament: 19 There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. Comment: The wealth of the rich man is described as a style of living "every day." 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. Comment: Contrasted with the rich man is the lifestyle of Lazarus who was so ill that dogs licked his sores. Lazarus was in trouble. 22 "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. Comment: Death came to both, and angels carried the beggar to Abraham who was surely blessed. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. Comment: The rich man was in torment, and he could see Lazarus and Abraham. 24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' Comment: The agony is described as a real condition of the rich man after his death. He begs for pity. The rich man is now the beggar. The tables are turned. 25 "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. Comment: The reversal of lifestyles comes with agony for the rich man and comfort for the poor man. The time to decide about your lifestyle is during your lifetime. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us. Comment: A chasm is specifically described which adds to the reality of the description. 27 "He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, Comment: The rich man has real empathy and cares about his family and thinks Abraham can send Lazarus to warn them. The rich man was a good Jew except for his insensitivity toward Lazarus. 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.' Comment: The rich man is described as believing his brothers may end up in a place of torment if they do not care for the poor. 29 "Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.' Comment: God has already given warning and teaching through his prophets who spoke to the people. God is warning and teaching us through Jesus to care for the poor or end up in torment. 30 "'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' Comment: The rich man doubles down on his request for Abraham to send Lazarus. 31 "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'" Comment: We must be convinced by the warnings and teachings of the prophets rather than by a miraculous sign of raising someone from the dead. God's word comes through those he sends and whose word is

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 3. The Messianic vision is not of a military leader but a gentle king riding in a victory procession into Jerusalem, on a young donkey. He describes himself as lowly and gentle. 4. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 5. Before Abraham was born, Yeshua of Nazareth existed. 6. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. 7. Unless you repent, you too will perish. 8. Anyone who believes the good news about Yeshua and is baptized, will be saved. 9. Whoever declares publicly that they believe me, him will I declare before my Father in heaven. 10. Baptism now saves you also. It saves you because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ who said, "Because I live, you too will live." 11. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" 12. "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah." When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call." 13. ….having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses…. 14. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown. 15. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 16. But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 17. "He will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." 18. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 19. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. 20. There is one body of Christ containing all saved people. 21. Wherever possible, followers of Yeshua meet together to affirm the above and offer praise to the Son as Creator and to the Father and to the Spirit. Each independent meeting is led by older married men who hold firmly to the trustworthy message. Peter was one of those. 22. Eternal punishment was taught by Yeshua of Nazareth as the outcome of unbelief or disobedience. 23. There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Pacifism and Sacrificial Giving are encouraged.

Communication is a process issue, while others are content issues to be resolved. It is helpful to understand the distinction between process and content. An analogy is comparing the communication process to the vehicle and the content issues to the passengers who ride in the vehicle. If the vehicle is not functioning, or if there is something wrong with the engine or the tires or the brakes, then the vehicle isn't going to be able to get the passengers to the destination which, to extend this analogy, is resolution or agreement. So to have a well functioning vehicle, or process, the couple needs assertiveness, reflective listening, and problem solving skills. They need effective communication skills (see the chapter "Essential Effective Communication Skills" in Relationship Skills). When those skills are in place, we have a well running vehicle that can take the issues to resolution. Content issues are the experiences that can be addressed by problem-solving through brainstorming and reaching a mutual agreement. Sometimes couples need help to create strategies because they have perhaps never been in a problem-solving mode in their communication. They're learning to talk in a practical way about content issues, so the couple may need some help to think of some creative options and reaching mutual agreements.

If, for example, there were any who had been the cause of many deaths, or had betrayed or enslaved cities or armies, or been guilty of any other evil behavior, for each and all of their offenses they received punishment ten times over, and the rewards of beneficence and justice and holiness were in the same proportion."-Vision of Er, tenth book of The Republic by Plato, 428-347 BC. Phaedo by Plato 62. SUCH is the nature of the other world; and when the dead arrive at the place to which the genius of each severally guides them, first of all, they have sentence passed upon them, as they have lived good and holy lives or not. Those who appear to have lived neither well nor ill go to the river Acheron, and embarking in any vessels which they may find, are carried in them to the lake; there they dwell and are purified of their evil deeds, and having suffered punishment for the wrongs which they have done to others, they are absolved, and receive the rewards of their good deeds, each of them according to his deserts. But those whose crimes are so great that they seem to be incurable-who have committed many and terrible deeds of sacrilege, murders foul and violent, or the like-such are thrown into Tartarus by the fate which is their due, and they never come out. Those, again, who have committed crimes, which, although great, are not irremediable-who in a moment of anger, for example, have done some violence to a father or a mother, and have repented for the remainder of their lives, or who have taken the life of another under the like extenuating circumstances-these are plunged into Tartarus, the pains of which they are compelled to undergo for a year, but at the end of the year the wave casts them forth-mere homicides by way of Cocytus, parricides and matricides by

Adding to the collapse is the dramatic increase in atheism and naturalism being taught to children especially in public schools where extreme inclusivity has resulted in a loss of moral definitions. The growing spiritual vacuum will be filled with any worldview that offers health and hope, individually and subjectively determined.
The wave of people seeking truth, could be missed by those who have truth to offer.
It is not the first time such a flood has occurred, and followers of the Messiah can see it as an opportunity to be salt and light.
