Afloja (lat. Aphloia) je monotipski rod cvjetnica sopstevene porodice Aphloiaceae, red Crossosomatales iz razreda Magnoliopsida, divizija Tracheophyta.[1]

Jedina i tipska vrsta je A. theiformis, raširena po otocima zapadnoindijskog okeana (Komori, Sejšeli, Mauricijus, Rodrigues, Réunion, Madagaskar) i susjednom afričkom kontinentu, od Kenije do Južnoafričke Republike.[2]
Ova zimzelena stablašica ili grm ima nekoliko podrvrsta:

- Aphloia theiformis subsp. madagascariensis (Clos) H. Perrier
- Aphloia theiformis subsp. mauritiana (Baker) H. Perrier
