Hello! I'm hyped for the new update and I had a question regarding choices that might've been made in Episode One. We have the option to tell Stella what the cousin does for a living (student, streamer, lawyer, teacher, etc). I was wondering if that's purely for flavor in that scene or if that'll ever come up again?

I usually pick teacher and thought it'd be so funny to put on the Teacher Voice when confronting the Teens in EP2 or, as a lawyer would react to the Karen after the Bad Thing happens at the mines?

It would probably be too much to script on top of everything else but I thought it was neat so I wanted to ask.

Unlikely — the list of jobs was a fun idea to communicate the the MC’s life wasn’t easy while still leaving room for a little bit of choice, but the menu is too expansive and it would be too much of a headache to try and balance things out.

At least for now, the alternate route in chapter one doesn’t provide an opportunity to define that part of your backstory, in part because we haven’t done anything with it for anyone except the lawyer background.

yeah, we’ll have a more official announcement w/ a firm date soon. statue is just about done, and there’s also still some bug fixing/compression/accessibility work to do with consoles.

apparently whether or not we can get the switch version down to 8gb changes a lot of manufacturing costs, and we’re also making sure we get self-voicing working on physicals.
